Short Biography

I received my diploma in Computer Science from the Computer Science  Department of the University of Crete in 2003 and my Master of Science in System-on-Chip Design from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2005.

In 2011 I joined as an “Early Stage Researcher” in the research program “Transform: Theoretical Foundations of Transactional Memory”, funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission.

Concurrently with that, I enrolled in the PhD program of the University of Rennes 1 (as member of the ASAP team)  and obtained my PhD in December 2015

I am currently collaborating in research projects in the CARV laboratory of the ICS at FORTH.

My research interests concern distributed and parallel computing with the focus on the theoretical side of concurrency.
