Welcome to my academic website! My name is Anastasios (Tassos) Roussos and I am currently a Research Director (Professor level) at the Institute of Computer Science (ICS), part of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), Crete, Greece. I assumed this role in January 2025, after serving as a Principal Researcher (Associate Professor level) at ICS-FORTH from January 2019 to December 2024.

Before joining ICS-FORTH in early 2019, I was a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Computer Science at the University of Exeter, UK (2017-2019) and a Fellow of the Alan Turing Institute, UK (2018-2019). Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London (2014-2017), University College London (UCL) (2013-2014) and Queen Mary, University of London (2010-2013). I have studied Electrical and Computer Engineering (PhD 2010, Engineering Diploma 2005) at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece.
