I received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science
(1989) and the M.Sc degree in Computer Science (1993) from the Computer
Science department at University
of Crete, Heraklion,
Crete, Greece.
I have been involved in research work carried out in the Machine
Learning group of the Computer
Vision and Robotics Laboratory of ICS-FORTH.
From March 1993, I work as a Software Engineer at
the Computer Vision and Robotics Laboratory of ICS-FORTH. The main
goal of my research is the development of intelligent robot behaviors
based on learning.
Research interests
Machine Learning, neural networks, genetic algorithms,
intelligent robot navigation based on visual information.
